ITINERARY TOUR

MEKONG DELTA TOUR TO CAI BE – TAN PHONG ISLAND 

PICK UP: 07:00 (the time of pick up depends on customer’s hotel/ accommodation’s exact position).

RETURN: 18:00 – 18:30 

07:30 Depart for Cai Be by car/van via Trung Luong Expressway.

Upon arrival in Cai Be , have a boat ride on the Tien River. There, you can realize how diverse the area is and how rich orchard gardens are, which makes it the basket of fruit in the lower part of the Mekong River.

Ramble in small villages where you will uncover the beauty of an ancient house and learn about the indigenous culture. Make a short visit to a small family business where the locals make coconut fudges and crispy rice popcorn. Savor delicious fresh fruit and feel the slow rhythms of Southern Vietnamese folk music – a kind of music entwined with the life and culture of the Mekong Delta people.

Paddle through small canals – an exciting experience since you can look around, unwind, and soak up the wonderful atmosphere of the Upper Mekong Delta . Additionally, after arriving on Tan Phong Island , immerse yourself in nature’s tranquility.

At lunch time, you not only enjoy luscious food but also get closer to the locals as it is a chance to learn how to prepare Vietnamese specialties. The meal is cooked on your own and served in the heart of the local garden.

Cycle on the village path through orchards. Meet the local islanders to learn more about the local daily life in the Mekong Delta . Visit Ba Kiet’s ancient house.

Take a boat ride back to Cai Be and meet your bus for the trip back to Ho Chi Minh City . End your trip.

CHILDREN POLICY

– Children under 3 years old: free (excluding services).

– Children from 3 – 9 years old: 75% of tour price.

– Two adults can accompany a maximum of 2 children under 10 years old, the 3rd child will be charged 100% of the ticket price.

– In case a child is accompanied by only 1 adult, that child will be charged as an adult.

NOTE

– Drop off time is subject to traffic, weather…so the finished time could be later than expecting.

– Pick up and transfer to the centrally located hotel/accommodation in Dist 1, Ho Chi Minh City:

+ Pick up time is 7:00 – 7:15 AM, customers must be present at the lobby on that time. ( the time of pick up depends on your accommodation’s exact position).

+ TNK Travel just offers pickup service to customers at the hotels located in the center of District 1, in more detail consisting of streets: Ly Tu Trong, Le Thanh Ton, Truong Dinh, Nguyen An Ninh, Phan Chu Trinh, Luu Van Lang, Le Anh Xuan, Dong Khoi, Nguyen Hue, Thi Sach, Thu Khoa Huan, Thai Van Lung, Mac Thi Buoi, Ho Huan Nghiep, Nguyen Thai Binh, Le Thi Hong Gam, Bui Thi Xuan, Suong Nguyet Anh and Ky Con.

+ The exact pickup time in the above prescribed ranges depending on the position of the customers’ hotels or the pickup points required. Because of the traffic rule, the hotels/accommodations which located in the alley will not be served the pickup service.

– Children must be accompanied by an adult. Child rate applies only when sharing with 2 paying adults, otherwise they will be subject to the adult rate. A surcharge maybe applied to the bookings with 2 or more children. 

– Infant rates apply provided they do not occupy a seat and the tour inclusions. Please advise the supplier if you have from 1 infant at time of booking.
