ITINERARY TOUR

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival

Get pickup from the airport/train station to the hotel. Then you will have time for discovering by yourselves the attractions of Hanoi City . Why not arrive early to see the sights? Check out your reflections in beautiful Hoan Kiem Lake , wander along shaded. Museum-wise , why not visit the Mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh , drop into the serene Temple of Literature or get arty at the city’s Fine Arts Museum.

Have breakfast at your hotel.

7:45 – 8:15 Our tour guide will come and pick you up in the hotel lobby, then transferred you to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to explore the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting-place. Keep moving to Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house, which is located to one side of the Mausoleum , and having a look at the One Pillar Pagoda , which was founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049 – the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi.

After visiting Ho Chi Minh complex , our tour guide will take you to visit the Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda at West Lake (One of the oldest pagodas in Vietnam). Then visit Bat Trang ceramic village (applied on Mon, Wed & Fri).

12:00 Have lunch at a local restaurant

13:30 After lunch, you will keep continuing the tour with visiting the Ethnology Museum (apply on Sun, Tue, Thu & Sat) or the Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam – as known as the Vietnam’s first university. The tour will be enclosed by visiting the beauty of Hoan Kiem Lake with Ngoc Son temple and strolling in the small alley streets of the Old Quarter where you can have a chance for shopping and for being a traffic challenge when you cross the road.

15:30 – 16:00 Drop you off at your hotel. Trip ends.

DAY 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Halong Cruise (B,L,D)

Have breakfast at your hotel.

7.45-8.30 Pick-up at the hotel then travel to the spectacular World Heritage site of Halong Bay in the Gulf of Tonkin (approximately four hours) with a short break on the way. The bay is dotted with sandy coves, grottoes and 1,600 limestone islands, which have been formed over millennia by wind and water erosion.

12.00 – 12.30 Embark on Lavender Cruise followed by a short cruise briefing and enjoy welcome – drink. Check into the cabin.

13.15 Enjoy lunch with sampling regional fresh seafood while cruising on exquisite water, passing Incense Burner island, Fighting Cock islet, Stone Dog … Lavender Cruise will bring you to explore Ha Long Bay on the most wonderful route where just a few cruises go through.

15.00-16.30 Do kayaking through the magnificent landscape with Limestone Mountains , visit Titov Island and swim or just relax on the sun-deck for fantastic views at The Bay . After kayaking, you will be back to Lavender Cruises and join sunset party.

The cruise passes by Soi Sim Beach , “Rang Dua” Island to sleeping area near The Surprising cave.

19:30 Under the magnificent night sky, our set-menu dinner is served with a variety of Vietnamese and Asian foods.

Evening activities:

Join squid fishing on boat with our Crew, playing cards, karaoke or laser yourself with our happy-hour drinks at the bar. To end the day, spend a peaceful night aboard the boat beneath the night sky.

DAY 4: Halong – Hanoi – Night Tran To Sapa (B,L)

06:15 Morning exercises on the Sun-deck.

07:15 Have breakfast with Coffee, tea and Bakeries on board.

08:00 Visit the Surprising Cave (Hang Sung Sot) discovered by the French in 1901. Opened for tourists since 1936, now it is a must-to-see and a symbol for geological value of Halong.

09:30 Check out time. Then relax on the sun-deck or inside the restaurant to enjoy the bay’s scenery.

10:15 Enjoying a traditional Vietnamese lunch while cruising back to the pier.

12:00 Check out cruise. Our car will be at your disposal to pick you up then drive back to Hanoi.

16:30 Arrive in Hanoi. Drop you off at the hotel.

Note: All hotels have a public bathroom for all guests to take a shower or dress up if they only need transit at the hotel before leaving for overnight train. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you want to book a room to take a shower and fresh up for 1-2 hours only.

You have free time to have dinner before our tour guide or driver comes to pick you up then transfers to Hanoi Railway Station for overnight train. We will guide you how to do check in at the station and let you know how to be picked up at Lao Cai Station upon arrival. Our driver will transfer you to the hotel in Sapa.

DAY 5: Sapa Arrival – Lao Chai – Ta Van Village Trekking (B,L)

The train arrives at the Lao Cai train station at about 6:00am. Our driver will pick you up and transfer you along the beautiful road to Sapa . After breakfast, we left the hotel and started trekking down the valley to the Muong Hoa stream and from here to the Black H’mong village – Lao Chai village (Black Hmong is one of the biggest minority groups in the Sapa). After that, you will continue your trekking along MuongHoa stream , paddy field to Ta Van village , visit and understand about “Zay” ethnic people. You will see houses of The Zay people which are built of wood and bamboo with a clay floor. You will have picnic lunch at the village when enjoying beautiful sightseeing of paddy fields around. Leaving the villages, you are picked up by car to get back to Sapa for checking-in on afternoon. The rest of the day will be at your leisure to explore the town.

Note: Lao Chai – Ta Van trekking route is around 12km. Please contact us if you can’t do trekking for long distance. Evening: you will have time to explore Sapa town.

DAY 6: Cat Cat Village Trekking – Night Train Back To Hanoi (B,L)

After breakfast, you will leave for trekking tour with us about 6km to visit the village of the Black H’mong . Visiting the waterfall and hydroelectric power station established by the French people in the past, view nice landscapes of green forests and beautiful scenery along the way. Walk back to Sapa town.

Have lunch at the hotel.

In the afternoon, you will have free time to visit Sapa town , market, church or free visit flower garden in Ham Rong mountain until we pick you up to Lao Cai train station.

DAY 7: Hanoi Arrival – Hanoi Free And Easy

You will arrive Hanoi railway station about 5:30am. We will arrange a private car or taxi to transfer you to the hotel. Normal check-in time is at 14:00 in Vietnam. We will let you check in after 11:00 in case we have available room. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you want to book early checkin service.

DAY 8: Hanoi Departure (B)

You will have breakfast at the hotel then have free time to explore Hanoi city before getting picked up to the airport by our driver. Trip ends.
