DAY 4: Sapa Arrival \u2013 Cat Cat Village Trekking (B,L)<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

The train arrives at the Lao Cai train station<\/strong> at about 6:00 am. Our driver will pick you up and transfer you along the beautiful road to Sapa<\/strong>. After breakfast, you will trek about 6 km to come to visit the village of the Black H’mong<\/strong>. Visit the waterfall and hydroelectric power station established by the French people in the past, view nice landscapes of green forests and beautiful scenery along the way. Walk back to Sapa town. Have lunch at the hotel.<\/span><\/p>\n

Afternoon, you will have free time to visit Sapa town, market, church or visit the flower garden in Ham Rong mountain<\/strong> by yourself.<\/span><\/p>\n

DAY 5: Lao Chai \u2013 Ta Van Village \u2013 Night Train To Hanoi (B,L)<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

After breakfast, we leave the hotel and start trekking down the valley to the Muong Hoa stream and from here to the Black H’mong village<\/strong> – Lao Chai village<\/strong> (Black H’mong is one of the biggest minority groups in the Sapa). After that, you will continue your trekking along MuongHoa stream<\/strong>, paddy field to Ta Van village<\/strong>, visit and understand about “Zay” ethnic people. You will see houses of The Zay people which are built of wood and bamboo with a clay floor. You will have a picnic lunch at the village while enjoying beautiful sightseeing of paddy fields around. Leaving the villages, you are picked up by car to get back to Sapa. In the afternoon, you will have free time then we will pick you up at Lao Cai train station.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

You will arrive at Hanoi<\/strong> railway station at about 5:30am. We will arrange a private car or taxi to transfer you to the hotel. The normal check-in time is at 14:00 in Vietnam. 7:30 – 8:30<\/b><\/span> Leaving the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City<\/strong> and starting your trip to depart for My Tho<\/strong>, the town lies on the left side of the Mekong River<\/strong>. Upon arrival, visit Vinh Trang pagoda which dates back to the late 19th century. Then boarding the sampan and cruising down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Stop over at Unicorn Island<\/strong>, go walking around the country lane and see orchards, enjoy tropical fruits, folk song music which is performed by the local people. Visit the fruit plantation.<\/span><\/p>\n

7:45-8:15<\/b><\/span> Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and then start driving to Cu Chi<\/strong> which is located 70 km from the Ho Chi Minh City Center<\/strong> to the Northwest. Cu Chi<\/strong> was known as the \u201carea of steel\u201d in the war time, and the tunnel systems were over 200km, which was considered the unbreakable underground village in the Vietnam-American war<\/strong>. It is legendary for its network of tunnels and is a popular destination for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors. Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by an introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time. Then, spend your time exploring the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the specially constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purposes during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla\u2019s food during the war) will be served.<\/span><\/p>\n
