10.30-11.00<\/b> You will reach Hoa Lu Ancient Capital. In 968, Dinh Bo Linh declared himself as the King. Since then Hoa Lu existed as the capital for the next 41 years (968 \u2013 1009), of which 12 years was under the Dinh dynasty \u2013 King Dinh Tien Hoang, the country named Dai Co Viet, and 29 years later was under the Le dynasty \u2013 King Le Dai Hanh. In 1010, King Ly Thai To moved the capital from Hoa Lu to Thang Long \u2013present day Hanoi. Hoa Lu became the old citadel. In Hoa Lu there are now 2 temples that have been built on the ground of the old royal palace, one is dedicated to King Dinh Tien Hoang, the other is to King Le Dai Hanh. The visit offers a chance to know more about part of feudal dynasties and historical periods in Vietnamese history.<\/span><\/p>\n

12:00<\/b> Today you will enjoy a buffet lunch at a local restaurant in Tam Coc named Duc Tuan restaurant. The food is served with Asian style, local dishes, and organic vegetables. The Duc Tuan is located on the river overview Tam Coc, you can enjoy the view of overall riverside until you finish your lunch<\/span><\/p>\n

13:30<\/b> After finishing your lunch, you will be taking the rowing boat at Tam Coc Harbour. Arranged by local people here, the boat is rowed by both hands and legs. The boat will take you to 3 specular caves with hundreds of limestones on the way. If you travel during harvest season, you will see many terrace rice fields in golden colors. The boat rowing will be in around 2 hours. Not only can you see the peaceful scenery of mountains, rice paddy fields, temples, you also have chances to learn about local people’s cultures in their daily life.<\/span><\/p>\n

6:30 \u2013 7:00 <\/b>We will pick you up at your hotel then leave for Sapa. Traveling on new Highway Noi Bai by sleeper bus takes around 5 hours. We will have a short break around 20 minutes on the way.<\/span><\/p>\n

After lunch and short time to relax, trekking from hotel to Cat Cat village of H\u2019mong \u2013 It is named Cat Cat Village, you have a chance to visit a waterfall and the hydroelectric power station built by the French, learning about the culture, customs and unique people here with traditional crafts such as weaving, carved silver, hand forged agricultural tools.<\/span><\/p>\n

We will go back to Sapa Town. Spend your time freshening up then you will have your own leisure time to explore Sapa Town\u2019s nightlife.<\/span><\/p>\n

After breakfast, we leave the hotel and start trekking. After 4 km on the main road, we start going down to the valley by the small trails through the terrace rice fields to get to Y Linh Ho hamlet, and from here to the Black H’mong village – Lao Chai village (Black H’mong is one of the biggest minority groups in the Sapa). After that, you will continue your trekking along Muong Hoa stream, paddy field to Ta Van village, visit and understand about “Zay” ethnic people. You will see houses of The Zay people which are built of wood and bamboo with a clay floor.<\/span><\/p>\n

15:00<\/b> We will transfer you to the bus station to catch the sleeper bus back to Hanoi.<\/span><\/p>\n

Then enjoy the leisure time to explore Hoian by yourself. This is one of the loveliest towns in Vietnam, a small port that has traditionally been home to a thriving merchant community of foreign traders, influenced over the years by Europe, China, Vietnam and Japan. There are lively markets and quaint narrow streets lined with old buildings that have been converted into tailors, cafes and boutiques.<\/span><\/p>\n

Upon arrival, visit Vinh Trang pagoda which dates back to the late 19th century. Then boarding the sampan and cruising down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands.<\/span><\/p>\n

Stop over at Unicorn Island, go walking around the country lane and see orchards, enjoy tropical fruits, and folk song music which is performed by the local people. Visit the fruit plantation.<\/span><\/p>\n

7:45-8:15<\/b> Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and then start driving to Cu Chi which located 70 km from the Ho Chi Minh City Center to the Northwest. Cu Chi was known as the \u201carea of steel\u201d in the war time, and the tunnel systems were over 200km, which was considered the unbreakable underground village in the Vietnam-American war. It is legendary for its network of tunnels and is a popular destination for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors. Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time. Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war.
