My Son Sanctuary<\/span><\/span><\/strong> is located near the village of Duy Phu, Duy Xuyen, Quang Nam, Vietnam, in the heart of a beautiful valley and surrounded by high mountains. My Son is one of the most stunning sights to see in Hoi An, Viet Nam’s most important site of the ancient kingdom of Champa.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

MY SON SANCTUARY HALF DAY<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

7.30 \u2013 8:00<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span> Our driver and Guide will pick you up at your hotel in <\/span><\/span>Hoi An<\/span><\/span><\/strong> center and depart to <\/span><\/span>My Son Holy Land<\/span><\/span><\/strong> to explore and research.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

At about 9:00<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span> Arrive at My son sanctuary and start to visit My son<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In <\/span><\/span>My Son Holy Land<\/span><\/span><\/strong> , the towers and tombs have been dated from VII century to XIV century, but archaeological findings show us that the Cham kings were buried here since IV century.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The total of buildings are more than 70 towers including small, normal and large towers. My Son Sanctuary supposedly is the religious center and culture of the <\/span><\/span>Champa Ancient Kindom.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Most of the buildings were built by wood, but they had been destroyed since the 6th century in fires. In the 7th century.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

My Son Ruins<\/span><\/span><\/strong> was restored by Sambhuvarman who rebuilt the temples with special bricks which have existed until now.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Up to the 13th century, more than 70 similar temples had been built, establishing My Son as a sanctuary of Hinduism in the <\/span><\/span>Champa Kingdom.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Although scientists have been conducting research for many years. They still do not know the secret of how to make those bricks and build those towers.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

At about 11:00 \u2013 12:30<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span> Transfer for Lunch at a local house with local food<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Then we will move to <\/span><\/span>Cau Lau boat<\/span><\/span><\/strong> station and travel up the <\/span><\/span>Thu Bon river<\/span><\/span><\/strong> by motorized boat back to Hoi An<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The bus takes you back to the hotel. Tour ends in Hoi An at <\/span><\/span><\/span>13:30 \u2013 14:00<\/span><\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
